6th Rozgar Mela, Nagpur VANAMATI

The 6th Rozgar Mela has been launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today ie. on 13th June 2023, beginning with the induction of 70,126  recruits into various Ministries and Departments of Government of India. 

The recruitment drive follows a human resources review by the Prime Minister, after which he announced on 14th June, 2022 that recruitment of 10 lakh people is to be done by the Government in mission mode.

These recruitments are being done in mission mode by ministries and departments either by themselves or through recruiting agencies such as UPSC, SSC and Railway Recruitment Board. Selection processes have been simplified and made tech-enabled for expeditious recruitment.

The Prime Minister launched the Rozgar Mela at a national level event via video conferencing, and addressed the appointees who joined the programme from Fourty Five locations in the country. 

Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India,  Shri. Nitin Gadkari  joined the programme in Nagpur, organized by Maharashtra Bank Nagpur in VANAMATI . The Union Minister ceremonially handed over appointment orders to new recruits. The new recruits have received appointments variously in Department of Posts, Railway, Income Tax, Central Bank of India, Union Bank of India, Maharashtra Bank, Vidarbha Konkan Grameen Bank, Canara Bank, SIDBI, VNIT Nagpur, AIMS Nagpur etc.

Selected from across the country, the newly inducted appointees will join various positions/posts under the Government of India like, Probationary Officers , Clerk, Station Master, Sr commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Stenographer, Junior Accountant, Postal Assistant, Income Tax Inspector, Tax Assistant, Sr Draughtsman, JE/Supervisor, Assistant Professor, Teacher, Librarian, Lab Attendant, Nurse, PA, MTS, and many more.
