How to get registered for Aadhaar Card
Aadhaar is a 12 digit individual identification number issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India on behalf of the Government of India.
This number will serve as a proof of identity and address, anywhere in India. Aadhaar letter received via India Post and e-Aadhaar downloaded from UIDAI website are equally valid.
Enrolment fee: Free
Required Documents:
Address proof (Any one of the following)
- Ration card
- Passport
- Driving License
- Telephone bill or Electricity bill
- Voter ID
- Government Photo ID Cards
Photo ID proof (Any one of the following)
- PAN Card
- Ration card
- Voter ID
- Passport
- Driving License
- Telephone bill or Electricity bill
- Government Photo ID Cards
Where to Enroll
We can enroll at any authorized Aadhaar enrollment center with required documents mentioned above.
Process
At the enrollment center, we need to fill our personal details in the application form (or click here to download the application form). Enrolment Agency Operator will go through the following process
- Documents Verification
- Biometric Scanning of Ten Fingerprints
- Biometric Scanning of Iris
- Photograph
We can review the details which we have provided and make corrections during enrolment itself. Enrolment Agency Operator will give us acknowledgment slip with a temporary enrolment number.
Aadhaar Enrolment Status
As per UIDAI, Aadhaar number will bedelivered to our address within 60 to 90 days after enrollment.

How to update my address in Aadhar Card
Visit site http://uidai.gov.in/ & then click on resident portal & there is a option Update data click on it, from here you can update your address for Aadhaar card.
